Code of Conduct
Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties and online media.
Agreeing to the ANZIAM2019 Conference Code of Conduct
is a condition of registration.
A participant who experiences harassment or hostile behaviour may contact one of the designated representatives whose names will be listed here in due course.
These representatives will be available in person and via e-mail. Be assured that if you approach them, your concerns will be kept in strict confidence and they will consult with you on any actions taken. In case of a formal complaint, they will speak to all parties involved to try to resolve the issue, without presupposition of guilt.
