In this special issue we will focus on advanced reliability modeling in maintenance. Any submissions to the special issue are requested to be extended versions of the original papers, which will be presented at the 4th Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Advanced Reliability and Maintenance Modeling (APARM 2010, 2-4 Dec 2010). Authors should prepare their manuscript according to the journal guidelines and send an electronic file (in PDF format) to either of the Guest Editors before 15 April 2011 for consideration (this date has been extended by one month). • 15 June 2011: Completion of the first round of reviews. Notification of acceptance/conditional acceptance
• 31 July 2011: Submission deadline for the revised papers
• 31 August 2011: Notification of acceptance/rejection
