NZMASP 2011 Conference, 21-24 November 2011, Silverstream Retreat.

Honours, Masters and PhD students from Universities in New Zealand are encouraged to attend and present a talk at this years New Zealand Mathematics and Statistics Postgraduate Conference. This Conference is going to be held at Silverstream Retreat. The organizers will provide conference facilities, accommodation, breakfast, morning/afternoon tea, lunch and travel to and from the airport if required.

Accommodation

NZMASP will cover accommodation from 21 to 24 November. 2011.

Sleeping arrangements

The accommodation style for all attendees will be the twin share rooms.

Please bring own linen/sleeping bag. Alternatively there is a small charge to hire, which is not covered under the registration fee.

NZMASP 2011 Registration

The conference is limited to 50 delegates. Those whom register after the cut-off date will be informed that they will be placed on the waiting list. All attendees are encouraged to register separately. Regrettably there is a $100 fee for this conference. However this does cover the cost of your accommodation, transport etc.

Please do not forget to mention if you are bringing other (non-delegate) people with you and that you realize that you will need to arrange accommodation and transport separately for them.

The cost for your partner is $200. This covers their food and accommodation.

You will have until the 7th of October to pay, if you fail to do this you will be automatically be put on the wait list. In November we will email those who have registered asking them to provide a title and abstract about their talk.

Registration opens 1st of July. Registrations close on the 16th of September.

There will be a wait list for those people who want to attend this Conference but however were not one of the first 50 to register. They will be notified between the 19th-23rd of September.

Travel, maps & directions

Transport is arranged to pick-up and drop-off delegates arriving and departing from Wellington airport. The pick-up time at the airport will be at 2pm Monday 21 November. Delegates are to gather where you claim luggage. Priority goes to those who have paid their registration fees. If you are wishing to bring a partner you will be notified by Friday 4th of November if there is enough space on the bus. If there isn't they will have to find their own way. Bus will pick-up from Silverstream Retreat at 2pm Thursday 24 November going to the airport.

Transport is included as part of the registration fee, however the bus only seats 37 people. More information to be provided if we exceed this cap number.
