Third Wellington Workshop in Probability and Mathematical Statistics

28-29 November 2011

The Third Wellington International Workshop in Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics (WWPMS3) will be held at Victoria University of Wellington on 28-29 November 2011, in the Alan MacDiarmid building. The whole workshop is dedicated to David Vere-Jones, to celebrate his 75th birthday.

The general framework of the third workshop remains the same as in 2009 and 2010: all speakers are invited by the Program Committee, all will have the same length of time for a talk (30 minutes, including time for a few questions), the main accent will be on mathematical beauty and clarity, and examples with nice applications are very welcome. There is no registration fee (contrary to some earlier suggestions).

The Programme, showing details for the two days, and the accepted Titles and Abstracts are now available (please note: there have been several updates since the files were first posted here).

There is also some useful information on travel and accommodation, with various maps including one of the Victoria University campus.
